Also before I started back at work, Caroline and I made a trip to Mobile to meet the rest of her deep south family. We had planned to go with Micah earlier but had to change our plans. Sadly Micah wasn't able to make this trip with us because we went during the week. (Maternity leave is a wonderful thing!) Caroline had 2 parties thrown in her honor! One at my mom's parent's house and the other at my dad's house.
At my mom's parent's house (Mommy Doll and Pop) all of their family was invited to come see her and just enjoy being together. Sadly my Aunt Mary and her family weren't able to come because they were all passing around the stomach bug! But a lot of the family stopped by and it was a wonderful time.
Then the next night my dad had a big party for Caroline at his house where he invited his neighbors over to meet her, then we had a family dinner later that evening.
Both parties were SO much fun. But as my mom's husband is a professional photographer, I'm afraid that the pictures are a bit skewed towards that party! Sorry Holmes family, I PROMISE to be a better photographer next time we all get together! Here are some pics of the week trip!!
